Frequently Asked Questions

Please review our Frequently Asked Questions to have an enjoyable event.

How much is the registration fee and what does it cover?

The registration fee for the Class of 1986 40th Reunion is $86 for classmates; registration for guests is FREE. Fees pay for items such as transportation, Memorial programs, Check-in & Registration support, badges & lanyards, and other incidentals.
EARLY BIRD Registration from APRIL 3-17, $65
Regular Registration April 18 - August 31, $86
Late Registration September 01 - 20, $108

Can I pay with cash or check?

For simplicity, credit card transactions only- cash and check are not accepted.

What is the processing fee?

The processing fee covers the credit card transaction fees.

When does registration close? What are the late registration fees?

The cut-off date for standard registration is 08/31/2026. After that date the registration fee will be $108. Help out the reunion committee by making plans early!

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis by the Reunion Committee. If approved, refunds will be issued back to the original credit card minus the credit card processing fees and a SignUpNow.Events handling fee of $20. Refunds are processed in 30-45 days from date of approval by the committee.

Do I need a passport to gain access to the Yard?

A government issued photo ID such as MIlitary ID, a Driver's License, Passport or Passport Card is required to enter the Yard

Can I park in The Yard?

Vehicle access is limited to Military ID card holders. Getting your vehicle onto, and parking in The Yard is very, very challenging at this point given current security posture and numerous construction projects underway.  We do NOT recommend planning on parking in The Yard.  Most access will be via foot at Gate 1 or riding provided shuttles.

What if I'm married to a classmate, do we both have to pay the Classmate registration fee?

Yes. Since we base the registration fee on the number of classmates attending the reunion to cover the fixed costs for the entire weekend, we ask that all classmates pay their fee. Each classmate will need to create their own registration. This ensures each classmate has a proper name tag.

What do I need to shop at the Mid Store?

NOTE: Reunion name tags will NOT allow alumni to shop. *ALL Alumni Shopping at the Midshipman Store MUST Register For a Midshipman Store Shopping Card HERE! Rings, Lifetime Membership/Gold Cards, Reunion Badges, etc. NO Longer Can Be Used for Access to the Midshipman Store. You MUST Sign-Up and Have a Midshipman Store Card to be able to Shop in the Mid Store.

How can families of fallen classmates register to attend the reunion?

The USNA Class of 1986 would be honored to have families of our fallen classmates join us for the weekend. Please contact the Reunion Committee or your Company Rep for more details.

Can I park at the stadium for the Tailgate?

Yes. There is a fee for parking in the stadium lot.

Are funds available for classmates experiencing hardships?

Yes. Classmates experiencing financial hardships who would like to attend the weekend, please contact the Reunion Committee Chairs, Brett and Diana. Anonymous classmates have put forward funds to support classmates in need.
